Lifeguard/WSI Position:
American Red Cross Certifications Copy of Lifeguard / WSI Certifications: Please attach to the application. Yearly renewal required for CPR/AED. Lifeguards & Water Safety Instructors Job Description: All lifeguards must be American Red Cross Certified. The Lifeguards/WSI teach Swimming every morning to all age groups. The children have a free swim in the afternoon. The lifeguards rotate from the pool to the Boating Beach during the camp day. The beginning age for lifeguards is 17 years old.

Counselor Job Description:
Each group is assigned a Head Counselor, Assistant Counselor, Junior Counselor for the 8 week summer season. Campers are separated by age and gender. The counselor receives a daily schedule of activities to follow with their group. The counselor's job is to provide a fun and safe environment, teaching the children activities, sports, and team skills. Counselors are required to play and be involved with the campers during all activities. Counselors swim with their groups twice a day and assist the lifeguards in the pool area. Applicants must have experience working with children and enjoy being with children. Cell phone use is prohibited.

Pathfinder Age Requirements:
Head Counselors: 18 plus years old • Assistant Counselors: 16-17 years old • Junior Counselor: 15 years old, working papers required 15 & 16 y/o• Lifeguards: Must be 17 years old.

Transportation & Housing:
There is no bus transportation at Pathfinder. Pathfinder does not provide housing.
